Kabar TDI

I just got the Kabar TDI knife for personal protection use. I work at a gun store and can carry open since I am under the age to carry concealed but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the Michigan fixed blade laws. If anyone has had any experience with these knives.

Under 3 inch is fine. Over 3 inch, and it becomes a matter of police discretion.
TDI should be okay.
