Kabar vs Busse

Better steel. 1095 vs. INFI
Better ergonomics. micarta E handle vs round leather washers
Better blade grind. full flat vs. saber
It's thicker, stronger, wider, more comfortable.
I recently compared my NO to my grandfather's old Ka-Bar.
The Ka-bar is thinner and lighter. I can see how that might be appealing.
I think the NO is today what the Ka-Bar was fifty years ago...THE heavy-duty, practical, do everything, last a lifetime knife that you can leave your grandkids. Almost like a natural progression. Take a Ka-Bar, and modernize it (improve every feature, to take the knife from serviceable to "ultimate"), I think you'll end up with a Busse.

btw, I am a fan of the Ka-Bar (my grandfather's is over 50 years old, and still going), but we're comparing a $40 knife to a $300 knife, here.
