Kabar Warthog Or D2 Impact Combat Knife?

I would like to buy a KABAR Warthog or the KABAR D2 Impact Combat knife. Which one of these two knives would be better for edge retention, ease of sharpening, corrosion resistance, strength, etc.? I will pay a little more if the D2 steel is better than the 1095 Carbon steel. Is D2 actually close to stainless steel in corrosion resistance? Any thoughts and/or opinions are welcome.

I would go with the D-2 steel. It is a much better steel then 1095 and will not rust like 1095. D-2 has a high chromium content which makes it semi stainless even though it's a tool steel.
