Is anyone else on BF a fan of the Kabar LDK. I absolutely love mine its a great way to always have a blade on you. I carry mine in my back right pocket in a Desantis Nemesis pocket magazine holder. It looks just like a wallet.:D I think it handles small everyday tasks quite well.
 
I have 2. Not a bad little backup. I like to have more than one blade on my person when I'm in uniform. I laced it up into my boot laces.
 
great idea gear. always liked pocket access, neck carries are not as comfortable & only work fast with shirttails not tucked.
 
Thanks I just had a light bulb pop in my head I got the mag holder for Christmas for CCW. I was trying to figure out a way to carry the LDK but had no bright ideas so I started thinking isn't it supposed to look like a wallet? And then I thought hey put the knife in the holster and put it in your back pocket. I think its a great backup knife for some situations you can't get to anything else. Like Mercop says use it to fight your way to you gun, bigger knife etc. :thumbup:

I was never a fan of the "neck knife" concept until I bought an LDK. I already had a couple of the other knives in the TDI line (the LEK and Ankle Knife) and bought the LDK more or less just to complete the set. Now that I have it, I find it a very handy little blade.

Definetly well worth the modest price. :thumbup:

I like mine, though my girlfriend carries it most of the time. Just wish it had a slimed kydex sheath. I will have to try that wallet type carry.

This is general carry it prints very very little but you can't tell what it is.

This is absolute concealed carry when you don't want anyone thinking that its not some form of a wallet.

And this is what I have from Kabar so far and I am very happy with all of them. :o

The holster is a Desantis Nemesis Mag holder for pocket carry of a magazine or knife as you see here. :D

Maybe laced into the boots of a patrolman but that is about it. If I have to grab something I want more real estate than that. With loss of tactile sensation during vasoconstriction you will likely not be able to feel this little guy.

Yes, I suppose that's why its called a Last Ditch Knife (LDK). :p

I mainly use it for EDC when I don't have pockets (biking, jogging, walking around home in my sweats). It would definetly be a second or even third choice for SD.
