that doesn't look badass at all;)
Ouch!

Jay, very nice knife! i really like blade on this one! the double grind makes for a very sexy profile. the great job with the filework as well! the alternating design really stands out. i also like the shape of the handle a lot - but (if it was mine) would have chosen different material. (not a ding against the knife - just a personal preference) overall it is a beautiful piece and i am sure the new owner will love it!

edit - i just read up on this knife on your web site - and at first i did not realize that all 6 pieces of the handle are obsidian. that makes the handle even more amazing that you fit them all together so seamlessly! also when i first saw this knife i didnt recognize the pattern and now i know why - it is a combination of a couple of your knives. now i know that you can improve upon a Jay Fisher design - but you'll have to combine 2 of his knives to do it!

That is a good looking knife. I like the detailed file work on the spine. spend some time with some micro files anyone?

Oh, Jay, would you be willing to make a sheath like that for my factory knife if I sent it to you?

Just kidding!!!!!!! I spent hours reading the funny things people have said posted on your site, while ignoring the bold type stuff you put on there specifically to keep them from wasting your time. Keep posting that stuff for us to read and laugh at!

Thanks a lot guys!

The one thing you can't really get from the pics is the way this thing feels. Locks into your hand very well, smooth and solid; I'll be using the handle pattern shape again, for certain.

My clients have a good eye; I'm thankful for that. Not many guys are making true customs, but this is one, made just to order.

Big, I keep a file of funny emails to post on the site, so there are always new ones coming up. Since my site traffic is so high (2 million last month) I had to have some way to redirect the inquiries that were taking too much time to answer. There have been some guys barking about the "what I do" page, but for what it does, it works very well. I cut down my email time in the mornings from 4 hours to less than 2.

Thanks again!
Jay
