I got mine today, wow what a neat little knife! It has a few flaws, some scratches on the blade by the cho,the sweet spot of the blade was far from sharp and the handle is twisted quite a bit but for the money it`s still an awesome deal. The scratches add character, the dull spot was taken care of with 10mins. on a diamond rod and the twisted handle feels really good in the hand despite being so small. I hope Bill adds these to the regular line,I can see buying a bunch of these for gifts. What would be really great is a slightly larger version, say 7 1/2" overall,3 5/8" grip with the same blade thickness and a sheath with a full sized loop. It would make a wonderful daily utility knife for those who don`t care for folders. Marcus

Marcus, I agree with you, that a khuk just a little larger would make a great everyday utility knife. Maybe if enough folks agree, Uncle Bill will offer them. I would certainly order a couple.

I asked Bill for a larger KK around 8" or so and he said it would take too long and be a bit pricey to be practical.

Try to get Uncle Bill to find you a nine -incher. You can choke-up on the blade, as most skinners do anyway. Incidentally, one of my kagas katnes was "lent-out" to one of my deer hunting friends, at his suggestion--we'll see...

Here is a nine inch khukuri and it's a little honey. We call this model the Chesapeake Bay Knife Club khukuri. If anybody doesn't know why it is so named and wants to know tell me and I'll tell the story again. Price for this model is $80 shipping included.

That is a sweetheart Bill! A cross between that and the KK is kinda what I had in mind. The accessories are too small to be of much practical use when they`re that small so they wouldn`t need to be included. 7 1/2" OAL with a four finger handle and a thin edged blade without any fancy engraving would be a great everyday user! Khukuris are great working blades,it`s a shame most of us have to leave em in a drawer when we go about our daily routines. Marcus

I`d be happy with belt carry but some folks might really like the neck knife option. I wonder if they`d be much interest in it? Marcus

I dunno,you sold 200 Kagas katne didn`t ya? Heh,well you can`t blame a guy for trying.

Gee, just think of all the 3 1/4 & 3 1/2" blade tactical folders they are selling nowadays and the kagas katne has a 3 3/4" blade.
