Got a cool box from Yangdu today. Almost felt empty compared to what I usualy open from her. In it were two beautifully done Kagas Katnes by Sgt Khadka. Overall length on them is 6.5". Neat little knives. Think neck knife, or puukko khukuri style. I bet they'd look good as a pair of accessory knives. Really neat anyway. Thanks Yangdu, I love em.

They sure are nice knives. Put it to use and enjoy it, which I'm sure you will.

Yep. Still thinking of sticking them in the accessory knife pouches behind khuks too. Or as a neck knife. They just seem so useful.

I have three of them, when you come up with a design idea, please let me know.

Dick

Dave, the blade is 4". They have the checkerboard pattern cut into the handle like a chit. Sweet as can be.

Time to break out with the camera and show us ;)

I'll do it at work tomorrow. Along with a new frog for my FF.

Bugly sheath

Sarge knife w/antler

Kagas Katne w/antler. (KK needed longer handle for utility in my opinion.)

Another much under-rated HI offering. It's a lot of little knife when properly sharpened.

Kis, you are too hard on your sheaths. As Sarge sometimes that thing has soul. Its intangibles that matter.

And yes, guys the little KK is a lot of blade. And only 15 dollars.

I got two of these for Christmas; one for me and one for my wife. My really likes hers; her first thought was that it would be a good bodice dagger.:) It's a handy li'l bugger and looks great.

I said I'd take pics, and here they are. In the pic for size comparison are my little "puukko" EDC, my Mora #1, and my prized Bulldog Cattle Knife EDC. These KKs are growing on me, only problem is the GA concealed carry law would probably require them not being concealed. Blade limit is 4" or less (kk is right at 4") and not designed as a self defense blade. Oh well.

Hi Andy,
I've never seen KKs with the chitlangi stype handles. Those are cool.

Love the new avatar. Those are two gorgeous girls!

Ditto on the avatar.

Thanks guys. Didn't know the handle was uncommon Steve, thanks. Sure are nifty little things. I know what I'm giving out for christmas next year.

Thought I'd show the pic full size.

Exactly what I was going to say on both! The two little ones I have have the regular handles in miniature. Sweet little girl there Andy. You are a lucky man. :)

I need a replacement spring for a Hubertus automatic that has a 3 inch blade.
I contacted Pioneer Valley with no luck and sent an email to the cutlery in Austria. Can someone recommend some other sources, like a custom knife maker.

Regards,

Dennis
