I was decorating my tree last night. I realized it was missing something. Something personal, to mark it as mine. A stamp of uniqueness and authenticity. With a sudden insight, I whipped out my kages katnes and hung it on the tree. Perfect. My wife even told me to move it to the center, where it will be most visible. Now I can only hope it will draw others of it's kind, preferably larger ones (an 18" World War Two perhaps), to nestle among the presents beneath.
 
Excellent place to have a kagas katne as one never knows if it may be needed to help open an overwrapped present or .....hehe

Barb and me don't celebrate Christmas as most do, but we usually put up a tree for the little grandkids as they wouldn't understand. I kagas katne will go on our tree his year as well and will no doubt become a tradition for us anyway.
