KAI 1050 Folding Field

A knife from KAI of old. I don't see many of these these days. This one is tarnished as I don't polish them when they are in storage.

One of my absolute all time favourites!

I cut a bumper (plastic) off a car once with one after an accident. The old 1050 went through it like butter.

Kai made some wonderful classic patterns. My other favourite is the Special Agent.

Thanks for sharing.......it brings back a lot of memories.

I've been looking for a Japanese made 1040 or 1050 for a while, but secondary prices for these in good condition are up there but worth it IMO. I just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Great example of one! Thanks for posting it up!

They are pricey knives. The MSRP on this knife was $210.00.
