So, first of all, let me be clear that I am not whining, I said in the original ZT 0392 thread that I wasn't interested in purchasing one, though that was before I actually knew what it was... even then, I recently purchased my holy grail Kershaw Tilt 4001 for my all-black Kershaw collection, so I would have been very unlikely to have purchased one in any event.
However, reading through the now-closed original thread, I seem to have experienced an issue that nobody else mentions. First of all, I visit here somewhat sporadically and second of all, I forgot the release date of the ZT 0392. At approximately 1:01pm Pacific Time today (1/18/15), I received the e-mail from KAI informing me of the dealers who were selling the ZT 0392 starting at 9:00am Pacific Time today. This e-mail shows as being sent on 2/17/15 at 5:00PM Pacific Time. I checked and received e-mail to that account at around 9:00pm on 2/17/15, but not that e-mail. I also received e-mail to that account earlier TODAY, but not that e-mail. It suddenly popped up as I had left my e-mail program running.
I'm no expert on these things, but the header lines with the issues would seem to be these (certain details obscured with xxx's):
I'm just wondering if anyone else received the e-mail notification late from KAI, or if anyone can tell from the headers (despite my obfuscation), if the issue was on my and/or my internet service's side?
