  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

KakBritva "Luch" sharpener - New Kid on the block and I love it

I recently got hold of one of these, and I paired it up with a TSProf digital AxiCube stone holder system. It's a match made in heaven.

Any updates on your feelings about this system? I’m wondering mostly about its rigidity. Looking to step up from a hapstone R2.

I also see they have one with a rotating base but I think the articulating one would be more desirable.

Kakbritva makes solid, rigid systems. Overbuilt and over engineered on all levels. This is a great model.

You can add a rotating base later if you like.

Thanks. I don’t see a huge range of accessories available for it through gritomatic it’s honestly between the kakbritva and the kazak.

You can't go wrong with either choice. Kakbritva makes more refined sharpeners with excellent finishing, but both Kazak and Kakbritva are equally great machines.
