His Holiness will also be in NYC this week. He's giving teachings at the Beacon Theater this thursday, friday and saturday. He'll be giving a free, open-to-the-public teaching on sunday at Central Park. Last time he did this was in 1991, so if there's anybody interested, and in the area, you might want to check it out - it isn't always that you'll be getting a similar opportunity. Drop by the park between 9am to 1pm sunday (Aug. 15). The earlier the better, it's gonna be crowded! Check out www.thetibetcenter.org

My company is helping in the media activity, and, of course, I've volunteered my time too. My only concern is that they might not take kindly to me carrying a folder (obligatory knife reference

). Would feel kinda bare without it - maybe I'll have to carry that SAK in place - let's see.

He was our graduation speaker last year. Somewhere I have a great picture of our Rabbi(6'2, about 200#) giving him a bear-hug.
Even with all the extra security, I had no problems with my constant-carry at the time, a BM Stryker.

Thanks for posting this, Greg. HH is truly one of the most remarkable men of this century. I would give my eyeteeth (if I had eyeteeth to give) to come to Indiana and see and listen to him. Those who are able to do so will most certainly be blessed.
