Kalamazoo 1SM top idler wheel

Just got my Kalamazoo and I noticed the top idler wheel has some wiggle in it. Tried tightening it, but didn't help. The belt isn't tracking true. Slight wobble, for lack of a better word, to the tracking. Am I correct in thinking this shouldn't be this way? I'll try to find some shim or something to try to fix it later tomorrow or this weekend.
 
It's fixed via a washer. On another note, is the Reich Precision platen taller than the factory platen?

I think maybe many most of the regulars around here took off fishing of sumpin'.
 
Maybe try writing the manufacturer? If anyone would know it would be them.
