For the first time in New Hampshire, Sayoc Kali will be presented by, Tuhon Chris Sayoc and family. This is a rare event the head of the Sayoc Kali system will be sharing his art with all participants. Don’t miss the opportunity to train with this notable Kali Master.

Tuhon Chris Sayoc of Sayoc Kali is a man who has been involved with the Filipino martial arts since he was a young child. His family art of using the blade has been passed down through 4 generations with a heavy influence on the art, from both his paternal and maternal grandfathers. While Chris Sayoc was fortunate to have encountered and trained with many masters of the Filipino martial arts, today, he focuses strictly on promoting his own family system.

It looks like I will be able to make this seminar, if all goes well. Is anyone else out there planning on attending?

Steve,
What will Chris cover in this seminar?

Hello Donna,
Sorry it took me awhile to reply. Tuhon Sayoc has told me we will be practicing material out of the instructor course material that is up on the Sayoc website. He will throw as much material as we can absorb. I hope that helps.

I am leaning towards attending, it being only an hour away. My hesitation is that I will be coming back from DC the previous night. Travel drains me.

Aw, c'mon Sing! It'll be fun. Besides, once you get going, you won't be tired any more.

We'll even let you take a nap out in the hall at lunch time!

Hello Sing,
I hope you can make it! Guro George Brewster is also coming up from Boston, maybe you can hook up and train with him sometime also(If you don't already)
Steve

Hi Steve,

Actually I started in FMA with Guro George. I still consider myself his student though our schedules have not meshed. After he was dropped from the Boston Sportsman club in favor of aerobics, I arranged to have his Boston Arnis club housed in the the Community Center I work at in Boston's Chinatown. I thought I posted the info, hmm.... Better do it again.

I am very much leaning towards coming up. I'm checking with a friend. Hopefully, she'll drive and I can nap on the way up.

Hello Sing,
I just found out about Guro Brewster starting up in Chinatown. That is great! I have only met him once for a very short time, but I was very impressed with his openness. Anything I can do to help you out, in attending the seminar let me know.
Sincerely
Steve

Steve,

For a 70 plus guy, Mr. B is still "sharper" than most folks half his age and under.

Tuhon will probably cover much of the material found one the web site, so start thinking of your questions now, because with good questions from to martial artist attending it can be even more informitive.

When are you going up? Are you driving up that day or the night before?

Donna,
I not sure yet when I'm heading up most likely the night before.

Hello Everyone,
It is really great to see many of you attending the Sayoc seminar. Please email me individually with your name, so that I can add you to the door list. One of my students will be collecting all fees at the door, so get back to me as soon as possible.
Sincerely
Steve L.
