Just like to show you guys over the pond this one. I have three of these knives and decided I wanted something a bit different, having sent this knife up to Russell White in Sheffield and told him what I wanted this is what he came up with.
For you of those who don't know Russell is one of the chief knife makers for Taylors Eye Witness Knives in Sheffield an old established company and one of the few left in the UK. Enjoy!

The wood is Maple burl.

Wow, that is just drop dead gorgeous! I think having the scales extend all the way to the edges of the blade makes a big improvement in the looks (and feel too, I'd bet).
 
I agree with Plum!!! That is drop dead gorgeous!!!!
I really like the white on blue spacers/liners.

Very nice looking knife, I like wood on the handle too.
And this fixed Kalinga has got the very predatory shape of the blade.
 
Very nice! I have a Kalinga that I never really warmed up to, however, those mods really bring it to a new level!
