back in the viet nam era i was flying into and out of the phillipines on just about a monthly basis. while there i saw carved items made out of monkey pod wood and some really beautiful stuff made out of kamagong or kamagon
wood or something like that.
i think that this stuff would make some really good looking scales if you could find it. anybody familiar with this stuff or know where to find same.
