KAMI MARK LIST
Your Himalayan Imports Khukuri comes imprinted with various markings.
Either close to the Spine near the curve of the Blade or On the ricasso on the right side of the Blade there will be the Devangari initials for HI.
And/Or on the Ricasso on the right side there may be a Star with 4 double rays.
These designate your khukuri as made by Himalayan Imports
Also on the Right side near the Sword of Shiva near the ricasso you may find the English Letters "UB". Since Uncle Bill Martino's passing in 2005 all khukuri have been marked this way in his honor.
On the Left Side Ricasso of your khukuri you will find the initials and the (mark) symbol of the Kami who made your knife.
(As some marks have been reused and some marks may be similar, particular attention should be paid to the Kamis initials, as this may help in discerning the mark)

Arjune/Anil Kami's Mark is Nepal Flag facing down (towards bolster).
Bal Bahadur Kami's Mark is a Soccer Ball.
Bhakkta Kami's mark is arrow (Danush rasi), in English = Sagittarius.
"Bura"-"The Royal Kami" Lal Bahadur Kami's Mark is the Crescent Moon. Former khukuri maker for the king of Nepal, Respected friend and Shop Foreman for many years (Now Retired).
Dhan Bahadur Kami's Mark is an Eye.
Dil Kami's Mark (Older) is a Flower.
Dil Kami's mark (Later) is a Lotus Flower.
Get Kami's Mark is a Kite.
Keshar Lal Kami's Mark is the Crescent Moon (He was given this mark by Bura).
Kumar Kami's Mark is a 6 pointed star.
Lachhu Kami's Mark (Earlier) is a Small Sun with many rays.
