Is there an updated version of the kami mark chart on the website available anywhere? There are several "new" kamis who aren't listed and don't have their marks identified. Also, it seems some kamis have changed there mark since that listing was done. Has anyone compiled such an updated chart?
Brian:confused:

Perhaps we could start with a list of names of the Kamis currently producing khuks.

I think the list includes at least:

"Bura" (Crescent moon and "L B")
"Kumar" (Star of David and/or "KM" or "KB"
"Amtrak" (swastica and/or "RR")
"Sher" (half sun w/ rays and/or "SB")

Who have I missed from the current team?

Didn't someone just compile all this the other day and email it to someone or am I just confused again? :)
Seems like it was Raghorn but since I'm confoosed I wouldn't swear to it.

in that pic with the fylflot (swastika), that is RR kami.

Kesar, I haven't seen anything from him in a while. Had a GS by him that was just wonderful, tho.

Sanu - He's my bud, him and Sher. Sanu has moved back with his dad to take over the family business. Which is strange, he is not the oldest son. Perhaps his older bro declined the business, and he went for it. IIRC, he was doing Kami work as he thot the family business was not gonna pass to him. I think his dad runs a clock business or something.

Too bad fer us, at one point it was saind (I think Pala said) that Sanu would replace Bura in time...and it shows in his finely wrought khuks.

Brian, that swastika mark is Amtrak (RR). I don't know what the 4-cornered sun is all about.

Kesar is still around I thought, Uncle had some specials from him recently IIRC. Murali is still there I think. Both these guys use a Nepali flag for a mark.
Sanu left maybe a year ago, UB said he was back to helping with the family business (scissor manufacture I think). I was always a bit confused about this since his bio on the HI page said they found him making khuks way out in the sticks. Durba has been gone for 2 years or more.

I didn't think the small offering (s?) recently of Kesar meant that he was back, just that some Kesar stuff was still around.

Raghorn has a Kesar M43 and I envy him. I liked Kesar's M43's better than Bura's.

Who is this?

Please note the comparison of the above khuk to the one at the top in this link. Uncle Bill stated that indeed it is Shanker not Amtrak even though there is the flyflot. Sometimes the Kamis borrow each others marks which may be the case here. Here's the link:Link
