Hi Guys,
I lost my hard drive a few months ago and with it most of my HI archived pics. I'm giving a short talk for Toastmaster's group I'm in, and the natural thing to gab about is HI and the ton of steel in the den.
(Even though I've been a stranger here for almost 4 years and my collection has shrunk substantially, I'm still locked into the mindset here and love of Kukris, especially HI ones.)
I'd like to have just a few photos of the kamis at work. I know I had a bunch and thought they were up here in the picture thread, but I can't find them now. Can someone point me in the right direction or just email me a few? I used to have some pics of Bura and Pala and the guys forging and assembling knives and blessings the contents before shipping, etc., plus a group photo that included Kumar and Sher IIRC.
Anyway, I would appreciate anything you could post here or send my way. It also may be here and I just can't find it. You can PM here and I'll get it in my email. Whatever is easiest for you.
The hardest part will be deciding which kukri pics to put up for the talk, as I only have 5-7 minutes. I think I'll do a cross-section of Foxy Folly's and Samshers and BDC's to get the juices flowing!
