Father and I want to thank Bawanna and fine artist Alan for Kami Sherpa's Portrait.
We will treasure it forever.

Wow, that's outstanding work! Really making me think I should get the pic of Pala with my Tibetan Short Sword printed out at the least! Pictures of Pala holding a blade are my favorite.

Wow, indeed. What a gift! Will be a family heirloom, for sure. Hats off to Bawanna and Alan for making this happen.

It was an honor to be able to contribute something with what little talent that I have to truly outstanding human beings.
All the best,
Alan

I give all the credit for this to Mr. Yip Choy. After seeing his Birth of a Khukri portrait, a little light bulb came on in my head.
Like Singlegrinds plan I intended to take the picture that Auntie so graciously took of Pala holding my Thamar Tek Chirra and blow it up.
After seeing the Birth of a Khukri I crossed my fingers and asked what he could do with it.
As you can see he knocked it clean out of the ball park. Absolutely amazing. I can't even draw stick people and his hands are like a Nikon.

Thanks Alan for doing this, I know we both were having anxiety attacks waiting for it to arrive.

I'm so happy that Auntie and family liked it and hope that in 50 or 60 years Pala can show it to his friends and tell them that was me awhile back............................

What a treasure. Simply outstanding!! I'm glad that light bulb burned so brightly, Bawanna. Yip Choy, I am impressed with your work once again. My hat's off to you.

WoW! Im Spleechless and flabberblasted away! Thats so real! Amazing acts of kindness right there. Well done by both of you. I got chicken skin!
