'Dog, You got pics upon pics of you standin' around on yer bare feet. They just make me recall my own misfortune. Misfortune, mind you and not poverty stricken like y'all. You see, I was borned paraplegic and was that way until I was about 26, 28. Well...at least until I got outta third grade. Then I growed out of it. Old habits die hard, you know. The wife don't mind me smokin' my stogies and flickin' the ashes with my toes, but she simply hates it when I gotta pick blackberry seeds outta my teeth with them toes. Just ain't no justice in this world is they?

Those were some pretty tough pecans this year so I thought id bust them up with the 18" Bura AK but the shells were stickin to the nutz so I had to abandon that ideer.

Bout the time i was whuupin out the star spangled banner my wife had to git on it n tell me me i need to tune it down a bit. I was a bit loud i guess:D
Oh well back to crakin nuts. Aint enuff for a pie yet but gettin there. Effin i git er all done im gonna have me one of them cigars like you got! Thats lookin pretty dang good about now. btw what do you use on your toenails? #49 or 50? Second cut?

Wellll, if I was comin' fer a visit, I'd sure use a #50. Have to look my best, you know to meet yer wife. Them first impressions don't give a body a second chance. But round here in Corn Patch, I got a nice Black Diamond farrier's rasp that I use to shave with and it luckily doubles to spruce up the toes and finger nails. You remember this pic, I know, but notice how wide that sucker is and how exquisitely sharp those teeth are. It works great helping to keep Momma-In-Laws at bay! It can also pick you up a little extry spending money by being a substitute for Preparation H. Just you ask our ol' amigo, Bawanna.

[/IMG] I'll have to drag out a few more photos to share with you. Wanna hear me pick out Stairway to Heaven on my mandolin?

Yall tear me up sometimes. That thought of Bookie having the goodest curved spine makes me ribs hurt from laughing so hard.

I looked down and can see my feet but them activities you partake of are out of the question. Just cosmetic feet I reckon.

I'd love to hear Stairway to Heaven on the mandolin, maybe 78 speed.

my goodness, you made the third grade? that's reel edjumacated fer a redneck. are ya tryin' to give the rest of us a bad name?
next thing y'all will be tellin us you gradiated emelentary school.

durn yankee foolishness.

try wicking some superglue into the cracks, works fine for horn grips too.

even more so in her's.

I just threw up a little bit in my mouth. Please kronckew, no more pictures.

I think your gonna need a lil more than superglue Kronck!

Bookie I did find me one of them #49 rasps good old USA made one. Yours is probably gooder than mine but they look the same. I remember that picture. That was when Cutie Curls was coming to town for a visit. Got poor ol Bawanna fit to be tied. I dont think he has been the same since.

Always be different, never be the same! That's ok right? You think I'm ok? Really? I mean define normble.

'Dog, If you have a 49, you must get you a 50, too. They're a set, amigo. I'm thinkin' Bawanna is losein' it. Still deluded he's got the more gooder curved spine. I'm thinkin' I might inlay some gold wire in the handle of mine--maybe my initials and a couple Buddhist symbols throwed in for good measure and protection. Already modified it some. It now uses NGK spark plugs, has dual exhaust, and a really fast an' easy Briggs & Stratton pull starter. Sticks inna tree at 30 feet like goin' inta butter.

What a beautiful sunset after all the rain and flooding.

OK now that all the blood has gone to my head I think its time to rapell back down and enjoy some bacon wrapped shrimp and pineapple K-bobs and a glass of blackberry vino!
Dang...Bedtime. Sure was nice to see the sun today:p

Wow, 'Dog! Those K-bobs look good. Be down in Orchard for a few days this week and I just may have to follow my nose....and pick up a couple for Bawanna, of course!

I just LOVE a bunch of food on sticks set over fire... Not just because it is delicious, but usually it means I don't have to clean up the kitchen afterwards too! :D

Gotta say NDog, that looks to be the perfect way to greet the sunset. Kicked back glass of homemade berry wine in your toes, and good eating on the grill in front of you. If you tell me you just came back from a full day of High caliber X-long distance shooting and you have a Khuk within reach and a dog one side and spouse on the other, I would have to say there really isn't anything better I could imagine. Gonna have to kick hubby into gear and get that type of day going soon as we have a couple more sunny days. I don't mind spending some decent days getting yardwork done but we don't get enough of them here to let them all slip away. I am one jealous gal N'dog. ALMOST makes me want to move down that direction...

Well believe me it didnt look like that a few days ago. It has been raining for two weeks solid at least. I forgot what the sun looked like. My niece has been buggin me to go do some shootin. Shes from Ohio and just moved to Texas. Talk about polar opposites as far as gun laws. I do have to get off my duff and fix the stock on my 03A3 very soon. Hey! I dont need a forge to do that!

Where the heck is Orchard? Yeah bring Bawanna with you. I doubt yall get good fresh gulf shrimp way up there? Less its frozen maybe? I had to bust into my forge charcoal pile to cook them bobs. Charcoal goes fast. Very fast if you got air blowing on it I suppose. Was feelin kinda lazy and was giving my wife the day off out of the kitchen so yep she didnt mind that at all. She wont get up there on the roof with me tho. Forget that!

Hey Ndog, that all looks mighty good! Is that the grate from a storm drain that you're using for a grill?

Hey Ndog, that all looks mighty good! Is that the grate from a storm drain that you're using for a grill?

Yep! I got two of them. They are going to be part of the firebox when I build my brick oven. They are strong enough to drive a loaded fork truck over so they should outlast me;)

Oh...and no I didnt steal them from the city. got em on the bay.

Stealing them from the city probably would have been cheaper, not like you didn't pay for em 10x over anyhow.

'Dog, Orchard is about 20-30 miles West of Houston. House is right on the bank of the Brazos. Hoped to do some fossil hunting, but the river is pert high. Would bring the young Mister Hopke, but he'd want me to drive and I also might be tempted to find out just how sharp his secondary curved spine ain't. Not that I, HEAVEN FORBID, wouldn't believe ever word Bawanna told me, but you know how it is.....like the good General Sterling Price said onest, "Whuts thet Yankee tryin' tuh tell me?" And besides, me an' Miz Cutie Curls is pretty tight and ain't separated none too easily, you know.
