Just an announcement to let you all know that, with the arrival of new Kamis at HI, I am not organized enough yet to post the kami marks.

I will get the new marks organized and posted on the forum. Karda will make it sticky when I get the list from shop.

I haven't forgotten your need for the Kami marks.

I would mention that I do have most of the new Kami's along with all of the old kami's marks cataloged should I be asked for my help. I did attempt to do this once but was asked to give it a rest. I did however continue to gather what I could in silence rather than doing any further asking of folks for their help.

Did a quick read of the link, but not sure why ongoing list would not be a good idea. Maybe 'cause the kamis may not all be 'currently' producing for HI perhaps? Well, of course, many think it would be a good and useful thing to reference and credit the makers from before as well as now. It is unfortunate that the caste system tends not to credit the craftsmen specifically and it is respectful that HI does by advocating maker marks on their blades.
So I dunno, but personally Warty, I wish that you would stop "resting" and keep posting up the list...and thanks for yer time and effort.

as I said in that particular thread, when I am asked to begin again, I will do so.
Having looked at the kami mark pix that Karda has in the sticky now, I know I have nicer, clearer shots of all of them.

I have grown weary of being told to quit helping, guess I am intruding on someone else's rice bowl or something.
