It's finally finished and is so sharp it scares me!


This is my first Wa style handle and I'm really pleased with the outcome. The feel is great and really balances the knife well.


Materials used - AEB-L Steel, African Blackwood, Silver Twill

Weight - an ultralight 69 grams!

Blade length - ~ 66 mm or 2-3/4" - 8" Total Length


This one is spoken for but look out for more Wa handles and kitchen knives soon!

Thanks guys!!! I'm working on another one of these today.

I'm still seriously considering a run of Tall Petty's with this style of handle.

I could do two versions... a Connoisseur Line with my handles (with the best woods or synthetics) and a Chef's Line with Wa handles from a traditional handle maker in Japan.
