Hi

The price is affordable. Is it real super white and blue Japanese steel?

I thought they would be more expensive.

What is the quality like?

I have heard praises but no complaints. They are supposed to take quite an edge and are high quality. The steel is not stainless though and is prone to rusting.

I've owned both the Hunting and Kitchen line for several years. I love them.

For Traditional Japanese style they cannot be beaten unless you go with a Custom made knife. The materials are top shelf and the fit and finish is excellent.

I recommend them highly.

Kanetsune knives are very, very nice.

i'm trying to convince myself that i really don't need to splash out AUD$220 on a Sakura.

i might not win that battle.
