I read here and there that kangaroo leather is extremely strong, or that it's the strongest leather out there. I know the best bullwhips are often made with kangaroo leather.
But are there any quality wallets made with kangaroo leather? Searching on google brings up a bunch, but they otherwise look like any other wallet. Which means weak, thin stitching, fabric linings, etc. I had this problem with my stingray wallets. Stingray on the outside, but weak cow leather on the inside, with weak stitching that came undone and fabric that tore.
Obviously I don't want to spend a ton, but if it's going to last me 20 or 50 years, I don't mind paying a higher price.
Or should I just buy a Saddleback?
