It was a nice day in the low 80`s today, so Connie and I decided to take a hike in Kankakee State Park. We did a total of 6.5 miles today, and thought you might like to see a few photos.

Oh man, that looks like a great creek to play in! It's a childhood thing! I grew up down in southern Indiana where they have nice shallow creeks like this, and I grew up playing in most of them! They are great places to cool off, and great places to learn about all kinds of fish, snakes, all kinds of other critters, and nature in general! Everytime I see a place like this I just want to stop the SUV and spend the day! Thanks for all the great photos John! That looks like a great park but, I don't think I could have delt with the six dot five miles! Now days, I am doing real good to get myself around two city blocks but, Yvonne, Honey and I, do get out every day that the weather is decent, for walking and getting around that space! It's not a lot but, it is at least exercise!

Keep on truckin'!

Looks really peaceful.

Thanks for sharing.
