Not sure how many of you knife nuts or forum guys are out there that are in the area or fairly close, but there will be a small group of us getting together Saturday the 22nd of March to have a small meet and greet and just talk about the knives, gadgets, firearms, and what not. Very informal and just some guys shooting the shit, we have a wide range of ages so far so do not be intimidated. So Saturday the 22nd at 2pm we will be meeting at a casual bar and grill in NKC called Paul and Jack's. They have a small back room where we can have a little privacy and we can show off our toys (knives and gadgets) without flashing them in front of the whole restaurant. Contact me if you have any interest as we are trying to get a head count. (only 3 or maybe 4 of us so far) Address to Paul and Jack's below.

So it might be late notice for many of you but I figured I would give this a bump. I see a lot of guys from Ks and from Mo, not sure how long of a drive it is fro some of you, but we would love to have you guys out to enjoy a good time just hanging and talking about knives and gear. "Shooting the shit" as people say. Do not be shy, I see tons of people from around the area on the forums or with in a short driving range. Even if you can not be at this one feel free to comment and let me know if you would be interested in future get togethers. I will post some pics and maybe video of this one next week.

Caleb,
Thank You for the invite, If I was closer then Pennsylvania I would be there.
It sounds like a good time seeing different knives and gear.
It would be cool to hear about other peoples adventures that have simular interests.
Since some of us can't make the trip, Please post some photos.
( Let us know if we miss some great ribs or burgers also.)
p.s.
My Wife and I were in Kansas 1 1/2 years ago on a trip and loved every minute.

Thanks for the reply, I understand since your so far away. I am just thinking of people with in 2 hours or so unless someone wants to make a longer drive. There should be 4 us mainly from the USN there tomorrow and I will take pics, but all folks who enjoy knives and gear are welcome. Hopefully it will grown and we will get more people but if not then we should still have a good time.

Sounds cool! I was thinking of heading out to KCI Expo Center for the Gun and Knife show, but that can wait 'til Sunday, possibly.

I've tried in the past to get a group together, and almost had folks ready to meet at English Landing park in Parkville for a picnic, but that fell through when the park flooded. It's been a few years, though.

PM incoming...

Thanks for your post, just let me know, I see people and their location is close and always wander if they want a get together. Look forward to meeting you. We have a room at the restaurant so we can have some privacy if we are all show and telling knives and such.

Ok everyone, we had our first successful Kansas City get together and we hope to do it again in the future. From what I could tell everyone had a great time and we all enjoyed sharing and discussing. The downfall of the get together is that I am already broke due to my hobby, I am broke for the near future and now after the giveaway and being able to see and handle many different knives and gear I will be broke for a lifetime because I will always be buying gear. Thanks Dave for helping me organize it and bringing things to share. We had a total turn out of 4 guys and hope more can make it next time. 4 guys and we all brought a few things to share, here are some photos so see what fun we had (well at least showing of gear).
