Any suggestions on a Kansbol alternative in a full flat grind with the same dimensions, 4”blade and 4.5” handle?

Joker Ember "F" is pretty close to that. It's made in both flat ground and scandi ground versions.
14C28N blade steel at 58-59. Full tang.

Not the same…. But a 4.3” blade in a high saber with a great design is the Boker (Solingen) DBK Bushfriend in 80CRV2. Really great design and execution. Love mine.

I've owned the Kansbol for about three years, and it’s easily my most carried fixed blade. I’ve also looked for alternatives with better steel, but nothing truly replaces it.

The Kansbol is hard to beat because:
  • It’s very lightweight (99g – same as my Victorinox Huntsman!)
  • The dual grind is slicey and practical: great for wood at the base, great for food near the tip
  • And it’s cheap (~€35), so you don’t hesitate to use it hard

The closest knife I own to the Kansbol is the Joker Trampero – classic Kephart style, full flat grind, Sandvik 14C28N steel (better than 12C27), full tang, and a very nice leather sheath. The micarta handle is smooth and comfy, though a bit slick when wet.

But for short trips, I still prefer the Kansbol:
  • It's almost half the weight (99g vs 180g – and the sheath is lighter too)
  • I don’t need full tang for batoning for quick hikes or light camp tasks
  • For longer camping, I carry an axe anyway – so again, no need for a tank knife

I love the over dimensions and shape of it. Just not a big scandi grind fan. But for the price it’s really good. I normally carry a Spyderco salt along with it. Just seeing if anything else out there is similar but in a full flat
