What are the biggest differences between the Morakniv Kansbol and the Bushcraft Forest (aside from the handle and ground spine)?

I haven't compared them but probably nothing big. I'd say the handle of the kansbol is better because it can be used more comfortably in edge in (chest leverage) grip. Also kansbol has the optional webbing mounting system.

Considering that across the entire Mora line, most of the knives are merely subtle variations on one another, I'd say that's fairly significant. Looking at the handle shapes you can tell that they would handle very differently. Ground spine also offers a different level of utility. They are changes that are superficially minor, but make exponentially larger differences.

The price between BF and Kansbol is negligible and I do prefer the ground spine of the Kansbol, provided the blade is pretty much identical. To me, the advantage of the BF is the cheap sheath which I actually prefer to the multimount system or the Mora 2000 style sheath (belt loop) of the Kansbol. However, the blade (including the spine) is most important and sheaths are easy to come by so I'll get the Kansbol.

We're pretty fortunate with Morakniv as both the Bushcraft handles and the Garberg/Kansbol polymide handles are very comfortable.
