Hello everybody
Almost a year ago, I drew a sketch and prepared a prototype for this year's Ficx-Paris.
As for me - so far my best design, the most interesting and the most successful. Karakurt, or Black Widow, is a black spider with red spots, so I used zirconium on bolster, spacers and axial screws, and red Carboquartz for rings and spacer inserts. The red G10 translucent, as a result, looks brown, which is why I didn't find a cheaper option than Carbocartz. Marble carbon lining, I thought I was going to put black Carboquartz, but here carbon was more appropriate. When folded, the knife is only 10cm, compact enough, but in the unfolded state it is not small, the blade is 78mm, it is enough for everyday life, and the large choil makes it easy to hold the knife when slicing
. Note that in the folded and unfolded condition all lines are integral, only the cutout under the liner is knocked out, but there is nowhere to go. By the way, Jens Anso looked at how I did the liner and noticed that it's not easy. Indeed, the fit of the liner-lock is not technological, I did not look for easy ways. Steel blade 20CV, hand rube satin, polished false.
Perhaps the knife is not made perfectly, it's a prototype, but I really admire my own design. What do you think?
