Hey guys, I'm working on a karambit, any grinding hints?

My plan is to use the wheels on my flat platen for the bevels. I've never done an inside curve like this before...

Use a larger size contact wheel. 10" or 12" is good. Rotate the blade as needed while you move it up across the wheel.

Grinding Vertically, or horizontally? In relation to the wheel I mean?

This days i will make one for friend son .I wait him to choose design from net .I plan to grind bevels on my horizontal grinder on 2 inch wheel ..........?

Get a radius'd wheel. It will make your life a lot easier :)

I’ve made one, so this counts for next to nothing but I ran my belts over a scotch brite belt. This gave a blended convex edge and a radiused plunge but it kept things from gouging like I feared.

Have ground tight curves before using a Chisel grind on a small wheel vertically
Just watch your plunge and pull the handle towards you on the small wheel at the bottom of the platen
If done right it makes a wicked slicer
