Some of my buddies have been harassing me for a while to take my ringed hawkbill and make it a little more curvey, so even though I am a huge fan of the bawandimann karambit I finally gave in and made one.

This thing is pretty large for a karambit being about 8 inch OAL. I made it out of 1/4 inch 1095 since it is all I had around that was wide enough.

Hollow primary grind and flat front edges, carbon fiber scales and brass pin stock with an etched finish. The final model has a couple of very slight geometry tweaks and will be either out of 3/16ths or 5/32nds s35vn.

Comments always appreciated!

I like it. I think the back part of the blade should at the handle be more conventional but I like the over all design of the knife. I don't think that part of the blade is that bad, but I personally wouldn't buy that particular knife because of the blade design in front of the handle. I would buy a big Karambit though. Especially if it looked like that knife.

Mr. Watson,

I love your unique take on knives, this one is absolutely beautiful. I imagine an Orc from Tolkien's world wielding something such as this, very cool! Please forgive my inner nerd.

This is the first Karambit I've even seen that I like and I like this one a lot.
Fantastic work!
