A friend, who teaches knife tactics, asked if I could make him a, dressy, quick draw set up for his Spiderco knife. This is what I made for him:

The clip on the knife slides over a flat stiff piece of nylon. There is a small wedge on the surface where the clip slides. The knob on the clip locks onto this wedge holding the knife securely in place. The knife pulls straight forward from the sheath, whith no interuption of movement.

The opening in the center where your belt goes is for one of the loops on your pants. This keeps the sheath in place, not letting it slide forward when
the knife is drawn. Just one way to skin the cat. Fred

Looks good, simple and effective. I have the same model. What is the going price on one of those?

This rig has seven pieces to it and was fairly easy to construct.
I made this one up for a friend and did not intend to sell them, just share an idea.

A sheath maker could make one up for you pretty easy, I would think.

Could you tell us what the model of that particular Spyderco is?

Fred

This thread was moved from general knife discussion to here. I don't know exactly why. I guess I'll ask.

I just wanted to share this with you guys who like to carry these slick blades.
