Karambits

I have always appreciated the karambit style of knife and I now am thinking about getting one. The one that is at the top of my list is a Emerson karambit and then the second would be a Strider one. So my question is what one is better or are there better one? It would be used for EDC and other task that it would be needed for. At this point weight and size are not a problem.

To be very honest it's not which is better its which can you find. And as far as the price on a strider if you can find one you'd spend the same money on a custom made just for you. I had a large emy folder that was lost on deployment, I've only found the smaller ones now and I like more cutting space. Richard derespina is making me a model 4 which is alpha male of karambits, check him out.

Also check with Stabman. He has quite a few of them so will know what's good to get

Check out the 511 k-bits. The folder can be "waved" and the fixed is very strong. Both are made of S30v steel and will cost a lot less then a Strider or a Emerson. And get a trainer!
