Had the wife's dslr and snapped a few pics. Amazing how much better the pics are using that thing compared to my crappy smartphone.

On my hip it's a great edc. Did fantastic with everything I needed it for.

Btw, the child I'm smooching is mine, the 3 in the background, however, are not. :D

Sweet shots man! Yeah, a DSLR will blow any P&S out of the water. Hmmm, why the Karda and not the Kephart? ;)

I do like the combination. Nice Knife and the sheath compliments the scales.
Someday when I'm rich I gotta get one of these.
Be thankful I'm not posting pics of myself at Pismo beach in my nanner hammock. ;)

That's a good looking knife.

I used to go to Pismo Beach every summer when I was a kid. The last time was when I was a teenager in the mid 90's. You've got me missing the good ol' days.

Oh dear lord... Yeah, not THAT kinda Karda! It would be a fitting blade for you though. :)

I had taken a bunch of great sunset pics, but my wife had taken the card out. :(

Mist, the Kephart is a bitchin blade. I absolutely love carrying it, but it's nowhere near as inconspicuous as the little Fiddleback. I carry it all the time, but if I know that I'll be around crowds, I'll carry the smaller package. Both knives have similar blades and geometry so I really don't feel under-knifed carrying the Karda. ;)

Yeah, lol, I know what you mean man, the Kephart isn't as discrete as the Karda. I want a stainless Karda for discrete carry myself :)

A lot of it is down to the sheath you use too. The Kephart could be less conspicuous than the Karda if it was in a svelte belt sheath, and the Karda in a dangler.

These are the first knives that I've really ever carried outside of my pocket. I didn't realize how big an impact the sheath makes. I mean it's pretty obvious, but how well the sheath fits, how easy it is to remove and replace the knife, and how it rides are just as important as the knife itself. It's no wonder that people toss factory sheaths sometimes and replace them with better bits.

Receiving my Fiddlebacks, my first decent fixed blades, was my first revelation. Putting them into good sheaths and seeing what a delight it is to actually carry them was the next. ;)
