I was watching Indian cable programming this past Saturday AM (the only thing worth watching on Saturdays in my neck of the woods since they took the old Warner Brothers cartoons off of the Sat AM line-up), when an ad came on. Kareena's coming to town!

It looks like she's doing a U.S. tour with a pack of other Bollywood stars. Unfortunately, I have yet to convince my fiancee of the deep cultural signifigance this event.

...to sell your fiance on "cultural significance":p Probably, the only thing she will buy is a leash, to go on the collar you already have :D

Any chance of an East Coast stop? I am already taking my vitamins!

Depends on when those pictures we saw were taken. Maybe those movies are 20 years old. If they are, perhaps it would be better to stay home. :o

Let's not forget about those ears either. :D

Dayumed ears make her look like she's related to Mr.Spock. :p :D ;)
Don't ever turn yer back on a Vulcan!!!!

Is she coming anywhere in the south east? And does one of the other "pack of Bollywood stars" perchance include Aishwarya Rai? I like her...;) :D ;)

I'd never heard of her before, but I did a search and IMO she beats Kareena hands down. Take a look:

Personally, I don't know where all this ears business with Kareena comes from - I don't see it, perhaps you're looking at odd photos....in any case, surprising not to have heard of Ash (Ashwaria Rai) - she was Miss World a few years back. She's not a bad actress either though.

Actually it's not really the ears, just the fact that I'm not wired for one twenty, let alone Two Twenty.:p
One Sixty Two is a completely different story however.:p

I thought of that myself but then decided against posting it. Guess I'm not the only nasty old man here.

She won't need a collar, Wal. At my last haircut, the barber "left just enough up top so she can remind you who's boss". (Yes, he actually said that in her presence. I warned him none too gently not to give her any ideas.)

Don't know about the Southeast, for those who asked. The ad was purely local. Don't know about this Aish-whatever babe, either. After I saw Kareena's name, I didn't see the need to read any further.

I think Wal's correct about the "cultural signifigance" gambit. I'll have to try another tack.

...it don't matter none too much which tack y'all decides to take ;) Once a gal attains fiance status, she instinctively knows how to furl yore sails

Yeah, Rob, Aishwarya is IMO, prettier than Kareena. How could you say "no" to those eyes? (Although Kareena isn't exactly 'homely', either ;) ). IIRC, Ash is younger than Kareena, too...if that makes any difference. :D

Spence...I've got one address in the south-east she'd be welcome to visit!:D Maybe there's a travel planner of her's I could talk to? ;)
