I've been mulling over my choices for a puukko styled bushcraft knife and I think I've settled on this one http://www.ragweedforge.com/KaresuandoCatalog.html (second one down). Does anyone have experience with this knife or the company in general? Also since ragweed forge doesn't seem to be reliable on shipping to Canada can anyone recommend another online store that carries this specific knife. Thanks in advance.

I own that knife. My only advice is to buy at least two of them. Once you own one, you will like and use it so much that you will be paranoid of being without it, and despondent if they are no longer available.

Nice knives. I think I'd prefer the Vildmark. I like the shorter blade and the non traditional handle and sheath.

Unless shipping to Canada is a big issue, there's not a better or more reputable source for your knife than Ragnar.

(also w/ G10 handles)

i have a small Jonni and love it. great for wearing a fixed utility blade in public. no one even gives it a second look unless they want to check it out. had a slight secondary bevel i removed w/ a set of waterstones.

but, i'd email Ragnar and see if you could work out reliable shipping. but then i know him personally and would rather give him my $$$.

Ok I think I'll give Ragnar a shot. But I can't stop wondering why shipping to Canada is so hit and miss I order things from the states all the time and have always gotten it within 2 weeks.

wish i knew. had the same experience. shipping from Southeast Asia has been more reliable than The Great White North.
