I love the clean simple look, although I know a knife like this is not simple to make.
Handle looks about damn near perfect ergonomically, would love to swing er around for a bit.
Nice job!

Nice-looking wood. I've never heard of it. Can you tell me a bit more about it? Is it possible for me to get a block of it?

Samael,

Yes, i think so. Search in ebay!!! This is a russian wood... it's good to work with and accepting of the finish with linseed oil. That's what I used.

Hugs

Thanks; will do.

Beautiful work on the knife, too. I guess I forgot to mention that.:D

Wow, I just looked up Pernambuco on Google Earth. Looks like it's a long, long way away from anywhere.

Yes, Samael, Pernambuco is a state in northeastern Brazil.
Brazil is a continental country, multicultural, and we "pernambucanos" (Pernambuco State residents) are proud of our place!!! Maybe one day you get to know?? You'd like !And it would be welcome.

Hugs.

I used to be a fairly well-known orchid-grower. Do you have orchids (orchideas) there? Minas Gerais is more famous for them, but I know that's much further south from where you are.

Yes my friend.
There are orchids in Pernambuco too. Mostly in region named "zona da mata" (forest zone). there are beautiful and various plants.
