Karl Andersen/ Robert Burns Bowie Collaboration

I don't post very often anymore (life has just been too busy) but I thought I would share this cool project I was privileged to work on. Most of you know Karl and the extremely clean and functional work he puts out so it was a big honor for me to get to work on a collaboration with him this year. Karl did the blade and I did the handle and sheath. Karl and I definitely have very different styles but I think we were able to balance them and make a really harmonious piece. Length: 10 inches
Handle: 5 1/4 inches
Hardware: 1084/15n20 damascus
Handle: fossil mammoth ivory with bronze pin
