Hi all,

Don't get to post to often anymore, but thought I'd share a knife Karl brought to my attention awhile ago. And of course I jumped at the offer! :D He suggested it needed to go to a professional sheath maker and he used Scott Teaschner for it.
I met with Karl and Scott at the Blade show this year, and while I had yet to actually hold the knife, Scott and I worked out a basic out line for the sheath.

I just recieved it in the mail yesterday and i am simply flabbergasted! The knife alone is incredible - between fit'n'finish, the balance is amazing and the take down is so clean and simple!
And Scott's sheath work was exactly what I was envisioning when we talked and he sketched - and what's not visible is he included my initials on the inside of the belt loop so that the handle of the knife hides it - it can only be seen whan the knife is out and the retention strap is moved - just what I asked!

Hope you enjoy the pics!

Scott does some beautiful sheath work and that is a perfect example.

Terrific knife and a fantastic sheath. I saw several examples of Scott's work at Blade and came away very impressed.

Thanks guys! Gotta say Scott nailed what we came up with.

Both he and Karl are terriffic to work with.

Paul, thanks for the words - I've watched your work, and I have some from Dave Kelly, and I've seen elements that I really like. And I think Scott is in there with those elements - I can see why a lot of Karl's work heads his way!!!

Phil,
Not sure exactly, but it's not exotic - it's "distressed" cow, horse or bison... Scott told me at Blade, but my head was kinda in a fog... So I'll plead a senior moment....
