So I have been pouring over all things katana diring my quest for a new blade. And I came across some fitting sets on ebay that I REALLY like. I just don't know if the quality is ok or not. Can't post a link to a live auction but I have pics of the one I like. Haven't seen anything else like it. It's $71 for the set, made in Longquan, brass tsuba. The sword they would be going on is the SBG I just ordered so I'm hoping these would be a step up.

What do you think?

Haha, yeah I'm really leaning towards this one. I love the toad kashira. And there's even a place about an hour from me that will rewrap it and install the menuki- I don't think I'm ready to try that part yet.

I do indeed. I finally found two edc knives that have killed my desire to buy more. I just can't like anything more than them at the moment. So now I have turned my bladery addiction onto my other loves- swords and big old jungle chopper fixed blades.

I can't wait to see what you get.
I have a Tikat coming from Master Nease this Spring.
