I saw a website for a sheath maker a few months back and the guy was selling kydex sheaths.
He had a really nice kydex sheath made for the CS two Handed Katana Machete but I have yet to find it again.
Anybody know where i can find what i am looking for ?

I haven't seen such a thing, but honestly I think that'd be a huge waste of money. The CS 2HKM is atrocious as either a machete or as a sword. They really shot themselves in the face with the design on that one in my opinion. I know it's a very popular model and a big seller for a lot of folks but it'll be a cold day in hell that I carry those in my shop. Kydex that big would cost big bucks and you'd probably be better off putting that money towards saving for something like a Hanwei Tactical Katana. CS did a much better job on their Gladius Machete, for what it's worth.

Just my thoughts, though. Best of luck with your search! :)

It's not out just yet, but I've heard that opinions of the show model were very good. I have two on order for myself--one to mod and one to keep stock. " ha...ive got a katana machete, modded, shortened the handle just a bit, sharpened, works great to clear brush, strong blade...kydex would be an expensive option, just as expensive as the machete itself,i wouldnt go for it..

Yeah I ended up just picking up ONE after handling them in person, and then only because even though it felt awful I didn't want to give a bad review of it without trying it. There are a LOT of factors that make it a bad design, which I've written about elsewhere. I ended up modding the one I got into a "two-handed longsword machete" and sold it.

Kydex would almost certainly be several times MORE than the machete. That can still be worth it if it's a sheath for a good machete. The 2HKM is not a good machete. :D

Oh wow--that's not awful then. I would have expected kydex that big to be around the $75 mark. Unfortunately I still don't now the source you were describing, and I do still feel that the standard factory sheath is all it deserves. :p If you do track them down again be sure to let us know, though!

Will do and also expect an order from me soon. i like the fact that you offer sharpening service. I can do it my self but it is worth the extra to have it done.

Thanks! I figure it saves folks a bit of time, even if they have the knowhow to do it themselves. :)

cuts good, but you are right,on something thick and heavy, there is a lot of shock and vibrations going straight to the hands, after two hours of chopping my hands were beat...wish the factory sheath had more options for attachments,i got mine really cheap on amazon,so i cant complain, fortytwoblades,i like that old hickory butcher you have on your site, been wanting a beater bbq knife, that one you have looks awesome...might be getting it soon..
