Just did a little research... a Gassan katana, made by the forger's ancestors in the early 19th century is being sold through Christie's for around $29k. Wowza. (http://www.christies.com/LotFinder/lot_details.aspx?intObjectID=5143887) Some other Gassan's are selling for 19-30k+. Amazing craftsmanship. Oh, if I were a rich man..... haha
