I recently purchased a Stinger from her and I just have to say she does a fine job at making knives. The micarta is sanded to a working finish and the blade itself is big enough for general utility work. The kydex sheath that came with it holds the knife in tight and secure. Extremely well done even though she's a relatively new custom maker. I highly recommend her stuff.

I had the pleasure of drooling over her wares this past w/e at a local show. Had to have one of those Stingers myself! Fit and finish on her Hunters was first-rate also. Definitely on the list to see at Blade.
Stay Safe,

Kathleen is a terrific knifemaker, and I can honestly say that nobody works at it with more drive and intensity than she does. Her work is superb.

...but I will deny it if anyone tells her I said that! :D

Her website is www.tomeyknives.com . I don't have a scanner but my stinger is similar to the one she has pictured on her site. Mine just has red micarta spacers in between the black micarta scales and the blade.

Hey guys, There is a picture of the small stinger on my web site and a picture of the small and large on the comment made by Mike Snody on the fixed blades I think. Thanks for the interest. Kathleen

I enjoyed meeting Kathleen recently at the Atlanta {Flint River} show and had the pleasure not only of her company but handling and admiring her knives. Very nice indeed. Be advised you should get one of her blades now before they escelate in price and value :)

I think Kathleen's S.U.C. knife with the Redwood Burl and file work that is pictured in The Gallery forum is a stunning knife to say the least.
