Absolutely Breath-taking. I need to travel more and see places like that. I had no idea that Kathmandu City was so large!

Thanks Much for posting these Yangdu... When I was in Pakistan during the '80s while my Mother was doing the M.D. thing for WHO and Loma Linda Univ, I almost was able to take a trip to Nepal... but alas it did not happen.
I DID really enjoy my travels on the other side of the World while a teen tho!!

I think I may have to bite the bullet and go to Nepal. Flying's become a pain in the arse the past few years, but I think it would be worth the hassle to see some of the places that Yangdu has kindly shared with us.
 
that is one big dorje.
i am struck by how similar these temples are to the ones in japan.
the culture didnt change much as it moved eastward.
