Kats Knives Avenger Boot knife

The only Katz knife I have is a stockman. It's a beautifully made knife.
You would paying for exquisite fit and finish, rather than a fancy blade steel.
AUS6 is roughly equivalent to 440A as far as edge retention goes. But that's a toad stabber design, rather than a knife for cutting stuff. So I would consider AUS6 to be an appropriate choice.
