'Fool's gold' - Swedish

At last back into making some taper folders. V frustrating builds but rewarding when done, almost an addiction!

The blade is a 1095 core clad with N690 stainless, why, because I wanted to practice my stainless forging. The liners are titanium 6-4 and it is a UK legal detent with my now favourite opening mechanism, removing all potential UK legal interpretations about OHO/flick knives.

OAL 145mm 5,7 inch
CE 64mm 2,52 inch
F 82mm 3,23 inch
30g 1 ounce
HRC of N690 (won't fully harden at 1095 temps) 54, 1095 60-65
Scales are carbon fibre, epoxy and brass
Stainless hardened screws, pivot, stop pin, detent
PTFE washers
Copper on maker's mark

One I am hoping to take to show, thanks, Ig
