Katz Knives?

Has anyone had experience with Katz Knives? I have never handled one, but some of their designs intrigue me. I have heard very little about them. I know they are made in Japan. They have a wide range of knife styles, from tactical to EDC to gentleman's folders. All the ones I've seen are either lockbacks or fixed blades. They also made a nice looking traditional looking stockman. The blade steel on them appears to be not the latest or greatest, mostly something of the equivilent of 440c or 440a or Aus8, depending on who you listen to. That being said, I know there are other things to consider besides blade steel. After all, Al Mar still gets a pretty hefty price for AUS8, but you pay for the fit and finish and overall craftmanship. Katz Knives seem to be pretty expensive and I was wondering if they were comparable in quality to an Al Mar or a Moki. If so, maybe I could see the high price. I was even wondering if Moki might make their gentleman's folders, since I know Moki makes many knives for other companies. Anyone who has handled or owned a Katz knife or knives, I would appreciate your opinions on whether or not to take a chance on them. Thanks again:)
