Ok, I'm bored and playing with my digital camera. This isn't so much of a review, but a pictorial of sorts. You never hear too much about Katz knives, but I've had an avenger boot knife of theirs for a few years now. I got ahold of their new Safari kit and thought I'd share some pics. I'm not too big on "interchangeable knives" but this one is actually a tough set.

Anyway, on with the pics:

First up, a picture of the sheaths that hold the kits. The big one holds a the blade with the handle and a hatchet head. The slim sheath holds the wood saw, bone saw, fillet knife, boning knife, and the attachment for them (to compensate for the different widths in the blades).

Hatchet attached to the handle -- I did do some chopping with it and it faired pretty well on some dry oak. Came razor sharp too, which surprised me.

Wow!

I looked at the top pic, an thought it might have been a folder... then I realized that there was no place for a blade to go!

Nice knife
