I'm planning on getting a new camera, something more compact than my dslr and well.... more durable. So I'm looking for the best of all worlds.
Some requirements I have in mind are waterproof, decent optical zoom, and gps tagging.
I'm open to suggestions and if any of you can give me some insight on those waterproof bags for cameras I would greatly appreciate it. My plan is for a camera I can use while im on the water and one I can use when im caught in rain storm while on the trail.
The problem im having is that I'm spoiled by the photo quality of my dslr and I don't want to sacrifice too much (I realize this may be a lost cause)
So what are you folks using? What aspects do you like about your gear? Some things you'd change?
Thanks in advance.
